Note that the Census figures are based on parishes, whereas the Deprivation Index figures are based on wards, hence the differing ranking totals between the two data sets.  Slinfold Parish and Slinfold Ward were identical until May 2003, and therefore the two data sets do relate to identical geographic areas.
